Hi Guys,
I have this odd problem, Yesterday my pc started crashing Radomly, its happening when surfing the web, sitting on desktop, or playing games.
I build it after getting the pre overclocked bundle from overclockers,(Black Ops) and its been running fine, no problems, The only thing I installed today was the Asus Fan Xpert, as I wanted to make my fans quieter, as they are quiet loud...

Shortly afterwards, my pc crashed to a black screen, and I had to restart, a few minutes later to a blue screen, (Machine Check Error) again restarted. machine ran fine for a few hours the happened all over again
At this point I reset the fans within Fan Xpert, and removed program...
But problem has persisted all day long... and I cant seem to find a reason. I ran Memtest, overnight everything checks out fine, reseated the cpu, and heatsink, again didnt see any problems, but done it anyway... checked all temps inside case, cool as a cucumber.... totally at a loss.

Any Ideas?

Windows 7 64Bit
Intel Core i7 950 3.06GHz @ 4.20GHz
Asus X58 Sabertooth (Socket 1366) DDR3 Motherboard
Corsair Dominator (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz Triple Channel
Prolimatech Megahalems CPU Cooler w/ x2 Akasa Apache Black 120 Fans
HIS ATI Radeon HD 6950 2048MB
OCZ Vertex 2E 120GB 2.5" SATA-II SSD
WD Caviar Black 640GB SATA 6Gb
WD 500 GB HD
Corsair TX 650W ATX SLi Compliant Power Supply
Antec 1200 case

Nice system.

I'm wondering if the fans are running fans are still runing at the slower speeds.

I would save the BIOS to an OC profile and reset main profile to default settings then re-try, or clear the CMOS completely.

Ran a deep scan with zone alarm, seems clean, as far as resetting the BIOS dont really want to do that as it came overclocked from (Overclockers), bought at Xmas... would this not void my warranty....

Cpu fan at 1361
Second fan around the same, it runs quite loud..plenty of air being pushed out the back
other case fans...run at around 1700, lol and being a Antec 1200, theres plenty of them

Just a Update... Problem solved, it was nothing to do with the fans, turned out to be caused by By the new 10.12 ATI drivers for my Graphics card (Lots of people having problems on windows 7)... installed an earlier drive, system hasn't crashed once.

But Thanks guys for the Ideas... Good to have help on hand like this.
