Hiya
I've got a relatively old system - it's an Asus A8N mobo with Athlon 3000, 1600xt etc.
I run two screens off the graphics card - both off DVI.
Today I come home to switch my PC on and neither of the screens are getting any signal. I've tried one screen, then the other, swapping cables, swapping DVI ports on the graphics card and nothing. They both just get 'no signal' then go onto standby. The computer appears to be booting fine however judging by the Windows logon tone.
Do I have a duff graphics card? That's the only thing I can conclude other than it is my monitors playing up (Viewsonics VP171B and VX2025WM). I've tried unplugging the monitors but same thing crops up. It's probably also worth mentioning that my Xbox 360 works fine through the 2025 on VGA.
Can anybody shed any light on this/confirm that it is actually my graphics that are duff? Anything else I can try to get my PC back into life?
Any help with this is very much appreciated.
Tom
