my computer is turning itself off not just reboot completely instant power off power supply perhaps?

After how long ? Could be an incorrectly installed heatsink or a blockage on the cooling fan causing the cpu to overheat and the pc to shut down.

nah its water cooled, erm it just randomly shut down after a few mins now its fine but it did it last night aswell

What are you doing on the pc when it shuts down, are you surfing or gaming. How long has it been water cooled ?

lol i quite literally turn it on and it comes into windows, a day on water

Sounds like the cooling block isn't on right or making proper contact with the cpu and the thermal protection is kicking in to prevent your chip frying. Time to have a closer look at the pc and re-read the installation instructions.

gd point but the temps are at 29-30 idle and around 45load

EDIT: ill take a look anywy though

Strange, is the water cooler running of its own psu ? Is your psu up to the job ? Just been looking at you spec and thats a lot for a 430 Watt one. Your original question could be the answer.

yer thts what i ws thinking i reckon the psu just coudlnt be up to all of this

and the pump is running of the tagan psu

lol it doesnt seem to work well as the overclock my cpu thing dont work and it doesnt seem to add my cpu's power into the equation

It's a fair bet. Do you have a friend with a big psu that you could borrow to check before going out and spending the best part of £100 so you are completely sure that it is the source of your problems.

unfortunatly no, lol but i can only assume it is the psu at the end of the day it can only leave more room for expanability

i get some random resets sometimes aswell - the last whas when i was playing halo and started taking cids with fraps - i was getting over 200fps (intermitetnly) then it sudenly droped right off when i stoped recording with fraps and crashed.

i think its my cpu - cant take it (939 3200 athlon 64) but i dunno. i dont think its the power supple (sli certifed 580watts)

soz thred jacking or...sharing :D
