Sounds like the cooling block isn't on right or making proper contact with the cpu and the thermal protection is kicking in to prevent your chip frying. Time to have a closer look at the pc and re-read the installation instructions.
Strange, is the water cooler running of its own psu ? Is your psu up to the job ? Just been looking at you spec and thats a lot for a 430 Watt one. Your original question could be the answer.
There was a thread on here somewhere with a link to a site that worked out what size psu you need, it reckons i need 495 watts, currently running on a Hiper 480, but everything is at stock and no issues. If i can find the link i'll post it for you.
It's a fair bet. Do you have a friend with a big psu that you could borrow to check before going out and spending the best part of £100 so you are completely sure that it is the source of your problems.

i get some random resets sometimes aswell - the last whas when i was playing halo and started taking cids with fraps - i was getting over 200fps (intermitetnly) then it sudenly droped right off when i stoped recording with fraps and crashed.
i think its my cpu - cant take it (939 3200 athlon 64) but i dunno. i dont think its the power supple (sli certifed 580watts)
