Computer turns on then immediately off again. Tried a different psu and cpu.

My specs are:

GIgabyte GA-EX58-UD4
Core i7 920
6gb ocz 1333mhz ram gold

I am running out of the case with just a cpu installed and 1 stick of ram and the 2 power connectors on the mohterboard.

It turns on for a couple of seconds then it turns itself off again.

Tried a different psu and 920 but no good.

Reset the CMOS, if no luck, mobo return time probably!

Something could also be shorting as well....something worth checking for.

Make Sure the ram is in the correct slots, my p6t will not boot if the ram is in the wrong slots, not sure if its the same for the gigabyte but worth a look.
If not try resetting the bios, as stated in one of the above posts.
