Computer Underperforming, Need Advice

i have an HIS X1900XT which scored over 6000 3dmarks in "06" in my old amd x2 system. Ive put the same card in my new conroe rig with the same psu, hdd's and dvd-rw, and im now scoring 4800 3dmarks in "06" do you have any ideas why i might be getting such a low score?

Hiper Type-R 580
P5B Deluxe Wifi-AP
G.Skill 6400HZ Cas4
HIS X1900XT IceQ3 512MB

I'm using the latest drivers on a fresh install of windows. and have no idea why my card is under-performing.
