Hey all.
My mates comp has been unstable recently especially with gaming and he thinks its the psu which he said isnt a good brand as far as he was aware tho he couldnt check to tell me which one it was anyhow i noticed in a occt report that his +12 is a bit weak and also his bus is set a bit high. Can someone have a look and see if the psu is within reason volts wise and stuff and the bus values for his cpu as he did a slight overclock he said but i dont believe he is overclocking it now but i dont think he set the bus back to normal.

My concerns are the bus is 150 when should be 133 and the psu +12 is showing 11.77 and min is 11.71v also the +5 is a little low.
He mentioned he gets a crash when doing the psu test after about 5 or 20 seconds.
He just went to reset the bus back to 133 for me just now and i hope that helps somewhat but hes just bought a new psu today because of stability concerns which i think were valid for a new psu but if the bus resetting fixes it well hes just bought a 80 quid psu for nowt really but on off chance it doesnt fix it are the psu values which are showing idle not at a stress, could that be a poor psu and maybe causing the problems because hes just added a fan recently and a usb device for utube capturing which i duno how much power it draws from usb might be enough to push the psu i have no idea tbh.
Edit - hmm still crashes with bus set to normal and bios set to default. I should note that he added a fan controller not long ago and it started smoking so thats obviously gone now but could that have caused any damage to anything? Could be he just added a fan too many or that new usb gizmo for doing recordings of games.
