Hello chaps, i'm looking to make a big upgrade to my computer this week.
At the moment i'm still running an amd 3000, asus a7n8x deluxe, 1.75gb pc 2700 ram and an nvidia 6800agp, a bit of a dinosaur.

So i've been having a look around and thought these parts should be ok.

Can anyone comment? My budget is around 7-800 including vat.
I already have a decent psu (seasonic m12 600w), but what i was wondering is whether my case would be big enough for the 8800gts? I have an antec p180.

I'm pondering a raptor, but not too sure, as i don't like noisy computers, so it would have to give a fairly large speed increase to justify it.

Also is the scythe ninja still one of the best and quietest at c2d overclocking?

Much obliged.

Thanks for the replies, i think i'll go for the Asus P5N-E SLi nForce 650 instead as there doesn't seem to be many crucial differences betweed the two and use the spare cash for a 6600. Thanks for the tip about the tuniq, i think i'll change to that one also.

I may also get me a seagate 7200.10 320gb, quite the bargain at £61.
