I was installing a new hard drive and now my computer will not start.. I'm thinking I've knocked one of the cables but I've been through everything.

I press the power button, it starts up for a few seconds and then turns off. It then repeats this.

All the fans light up/ turn on. And the cpu/gpu start spinning, nothing appears on the screen. I've disconnected the new hard drive, and the old one and still can't get it to boot. Any idea whats happened?

I'm going to try rebuilding the thing now and double check all the wires

Hi
I would post your full spec so other people here can help
and if you are overclocked or not..

I reset the cmos and everythings working fine. I was in a bit of a panic so didn't think of that. And i'm used to pressing a button or taking out the battery, not the jumper cables.

So thanks again guys, I promise to post pics soon.
