Hi Guys,

I have wee bit of an issue with my computer, My GFX wasn't working properly so I replaced it today!

But every time I boot my Computer it does not get past the ROG Splash screen, I have tried everything I could possibly think of and I have ran out of ideas, Would really appreciate help...

Thanks for the reply,

Full Spec,

Powercolor R9 390 GFX
16gb Ram
Superflower PSU 1000W
i7 930 2.80GHz @ 4.20GHz
512GB SSD
1TB HDD
Asus Rampage III Extreme Board.

All connections are perfectly connected.

I tried this,
Just shows Board Model, CPU

And says

Press F8 for BBS Popup
Press ALT + F2 to execute ASUS EX Flash 2
DDR3-1066MHz
Initializing USB Controllers .. Done.

I can't get into bios mate, just stays stuck on that screen, even while i try to get into nothing, the only thing that happens is ROG logo disappears but still stuck on that screen.

I don't know what to do... Just thinking of getting another Computer.

I tried that, Even tried the old GFX but same thing, seems like its stuck at BIOS... I disconnected everything sound card etc... and just left the gfx and hdd connected nothing else.

Ok, help me choose CPU and Board, Guessing its these thats causing the problem.

Hi Mate,

Thanks for your reply,

I just gave that a go and nothing same stuck on that ROG Splash screen and does not go beyond that. Just seems strange, I disconnected everything this time even the HDD but nothing...

I'm just going to get a new Board and CPU seems like one of the two is the main root cause.

Thanks to all for help really appreciate it...

Would be nice if someone could recommend a new board and cpu budget £500 or may go a bit more if need be...

oh and some sticks would be nice to lol

Hi Wazza300 Yes mate tried all that! its really frustrating nothing seems to work, does not get past the splash screen (ROG). Guessing it does not get past the Bios.

I know all these problems started to arise the moment I plugged in the defected Watercooler I purchased from OC, leaked all over my board and gfx hence why I got new card and this now happens.

Probably worth just getting new board and cpu tbh.

I'd be getting in touch with them TBH!

I did, OC claimed they do not cover consequential loss, I got in touch with EK who said I have to prove them that my system isn't working.. tbh it was all becoming a farce and with me being busy with my mums treatment I couldn't be arsed to waste too much time with OC or EK.. I have returned it to OC at my own expense as OC as yet to refund me the return cost... The return was so they can exchange still waiting to here from them.

I thought I give it one last try by removing everything and putting everything back together and waaahaaayy everything is back up and running.. all the overclocking is deleted, might get another i7 chip and some RAMs now.

Thank you to everyone for help.
