Computer wont power on

PSU has died. Tested with another.

I will replace it but its on a Dell system and the PSU is some off small thing, not like in a normal desktop. What are these called??

so u have tested the motherboard with 2 different psu's and get the same results?

**EDIT** My mistake it was the psu faulty.

Faulty RAM would boot but not post, and give you a beep code from the internal speaker normally.

I've never had an amber light on the MB, but it doesn't sound good! I'd try any find the manual.
