My pc wont start up at all. There seems to be power going to the mobo tho as the green light appears when its connected to the mains. I changed the psu with a spare one and it still does not work. Maybe its the mobo? if it is its the second one that has gone this year. Any ideas guys?

All the power cables are hooked up :? and this problem just occured one day after I shut it down, not after upgrading it or messing around with the connections ill check anyway

The power cable connecting to the mobo does not fit all the pins, it is like 2 pins smaller i think. but its the same on my bros pc and he hasnt got any problems

yeah it didnt turn on at all. Also tried what deadman suggest and it still didnt turn on.

Specs
300watt psu (had it with the pc when i baught it quite old)
Asus A8V-VM 939 motherboard (new this year) my second mobo this year
Geforce 7600gt fairly new
Amd athalon processor (new this year)
1 gig ram, 2x 256 kingston and 1x geil value ram

i did actually think myself it could be the case, i put all the component into another case and it didnt work either. i dont know whether the cas i tried still works cos its really old but it still didnt start up. Nothing happens at all when i turn on the power button
