Been a while since I last posted here. Think my PSU is on it's way out and about to order a replacement, just wanted to run it by here first.

My main rig suddenly cut out last night (just watching the game) and it wouldn't POST, as soon as it came back on it would just restart. I turned it off and waited, after turning it back on I went into UEFI and changed all my settings to default.

It seemed to work but moments later, when Windows was loading, it did it again. Now I can't even get it to turn on at all. The fans try to spin up but it just cuts out and tries again. Took out my GFX card and HD, still no luck. Presume it's my PSU - I don't have a spare to test. It's a Corsair 500W modular powering an i5 3570K, 4870 1GB, SSD and a normal HD.

Looking to get the Corsair Builder Series CXM 600W Modular 80 PLUS Bronze PSU. Decent replacement? I plan to upgrade my GPU next year but sticking to the single GPU.

Reseating it? Didn't think of that.

If it is the memory - thank god for lifetime warranty. My RAM is almost 5 times the price I got it for.

So if it is the PSU; came across the OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W which looks very decent especially for the price. Any thoughts?

OCZ are looking like they'll be going out of business so bye bye warranty.
