I pressed the power button on my computer a couple of days ago and it wouldn't switch on at all and none of the lights on the motherboard were lit up. It was working fine the night before.
As far as I can tell, everything is connected to the PSU properly and the PSU is plugged into the mains.

Is my PSU faulty? I'd be quite happy to buy a new one if that were the case but I'm not sure if that's the cause of the problem.

I don't have a spare PSU to test with nor a another computer to test this PSU with.

Any suggestions?

have you re-seated all cables from psu to mboard and the pw/sw cable going from power button to mbaord?

you need to obtain another computer to test tbh. friend or family not got one? hook your psu up to their mboard and see if it turns on.

that wya you can tell if its mboard or psu.

is the switch on the back of the psu turned on? hasnt been flipped off by accident?
