Conan by Monolith Board Games

Boo, Looks like my backing didn't go through for some reason, Not sure... Will leave it a week or so before backing again lol
 
I can't afford to back this as I have to pay for my Dungeon Saga pledge goodies this month and it's my son's birthday but thankfully my mate is a massive Conan fan.

He asked me to deal with it for him as he will be moving before the shipping date, so it easier for him and I still get to play the game :). Also, if I find I can afford to get a copy for myself during the pledge campaign I can add it on as an extra and split the shipping.
 
I backed it yesterday. The sheer amount of stuff you now get for $135 makes it worth it.

If you aren't that keen on it I bet you could easily make the money back with the Kickstarter exclusives after it has arrived.
 
I backed it as well... too good a deal and I caved with 1 day to go. I've gone for the $135 deluxe one and will no doubt add more when the pledge manager comes out. Kickstarters are sucking me dry, I've backed Zombicide 3, Dungeon Saga and the Battle Systems Fantasy Terrain. I need to take a break :/
 
I didn't go for it in the end. I watched the playthrough videos and it seemed a bit too similar to a lot of other games. I already have Zombicide and Kingdom Death on the way.
 
I guess that is the problem with mini based games, There is only so much you can do with the games before they become rather samey. I went fr it simply because if it turned out to be crap I will easily be able to make my money back by selling all the KS exclusive items or the CE as a whole.
 
I liked the idea of boosting things with your gems. You can boost everything... movement, attacks, defence, re-rolls. Boost too much in your turn though and you may suffer during the other persons. You never know when you'll offend the Dice Gods! :D
 
pledge manager is now open(for a month) for this and is open to people who didnt back it!

ive just gone for the kings pledge but debating if to get the kickstarter exclusive stuff and the book makes it about £140 though!a lot of content however.

what worries me is i have imperial assault too and im not sure if this will be too samey(my group loves imperial assault).
