Concave football boots

Anyone tried these new 'concave' boots?

They look heavy to me

They do look a bit 'special' don't they. They seem optimised for the sweet spot but anything else will be more difficult I would have thought, outside of foot etc. Also it must take a load of feel away.

How often do you strike the ball with that part of the boot anyway? Surely the standard strike is an instep strike? Look useless.
