Concept of time

Hmm i just had a thought, could it be that mass and gravity exist simply because everything in the universe is moving?

In particle accelerators they gain mass as they get faster and more energy is pumped into them, in the universe everything is moving, even if its all relative most of it is still moving in one way or another very fast, so i wonder if perhaps this causes mass and gravity, also perhaps theres a drag effect at work from the quantum/fabric of space level?

But that still doesn't explain why mass exists. Or why gravity exists.

Does gravity exist due to mass or mass due to gravity? Is mass a measure of how much something is affected by a gravitational field, or is the gravitational field a representation of how much mass there is?

It's funny that we still don't know what mass or energy actually ARE, and they make up everything in the universe.

Mass exists due to the Higgs field supported by the data found on Higgs bosson.

Thats what I think too, that gravity condenses distance. It relates to time though because low gravity (stretched distance) has "faster" time relative to high gravity (condensed distance).

There's a theoretical spaceship engine designed on the principle.

This is in the news today, apparently it would require less energy that first thought. Interesting.
