Hi there just bumped my overclock on my Q9450 form 3.2g to 3.4g all seems stable and well. I have a large fan tower cooler and a great case for cooling 2 x 10" fans on side so airflow shouldnt be an issue. I have used PC Wizard hapily for a while now but upon takng a good look recently (due to my new overcklock) it says my NBT at 177c and my SBTP at 322c this is surley a mistake?

I have real temp and the readings on my separate cores are identical to pc wizards but those are the only temps it gives me, it just shocked me is all because pc wizard is powered by cpuid which I took to be a pretty accurate piece of software?

or try open hardware monitor (its completely free and sexy too!) if your computer hit anything at 100c it would shut down to save things from frying so dont worry its a miss reading

Thanks for putting my mind at rest guys, I guess I knew it must be a false reading 322c is enough to set my pc on fire, just thought it was odd coming from trusted software like cpuid.
