Condemned 2

^I would complete the first game firstly before you move onto Condemned 2. It sets the scene and wotnot.

I've got to get back into C2. I've not played it since the police station level...

Reviving olf thread rather than creating a new one...

Busy playing this through. Was not expecting to enjoy it as much as I am.

Sure, there are a few niggles. Sometimes it is far too dark, the blocking feels a little slow, the flashlight does not work as well as it should, they have changed the look of the characters a little too much, and I absolutely hate the little black oil creatures.

However, for the larger part, it is a great game. Played through the first again just prior to playing this, and they most definitely have improved a lot of things. The melee combat whilst very challenging is very satisfying. The forensic sections are a lot better - in the first game I really got the impression that Ethan was quite stupid, and that Ronda did all the work.

Anyway, the real reason I am reviving this thread: does the game play in a sort of ultra-widescreen mode for everyone? Its just that I am on a widescreen HD tele, and still got fairly large bars at top and bottom.

I saw this at a super market for £25 for the PS3, I guess the 360 will be the same price. Is it worth getting ?, the demo was quite fun but ive heard a few mixed views on the game.

I loved the 1st one, but I bought 2nd a month ago, played it twice, prob for aroundan hour in total, not liking it at all, the graphics are to dark and look quite dated, and the hand to hand combat is pretty week as well.

just not my cup of tea.

For those who found it too dark... up the brightness a little, especially if playing during day time...

Just came across both the best and most annoying parts in the game within just a few minutes of each, I am not finished yet. For those who have played it, the best part for me so far involves a bear (hope that doens't give much away).

The worst part... Ethan can aim well with shotgun, pistol, bricks, medieval crossbows, but put an assault rifle in his hands and its like the guy has some sort of degenerative disease that makes him unsteady.

seems quite interesting... will maybe get this for ps3.. (though will get the first one for pc first - its quite cheap.)

both this and GTA IV have been sat gathering dust for weeks, played them both for maybe 2 hours each, unlike gta I may try this again now if finished MGS4, I just found this a bit dull, and the combat clunky as hell. Shame, I loved the first one.

I got this on Friday but not had chance to play it yet, I quiet enjoyed the demo so hopefully I'll get in to it this week.
