Alright guys, bit of an unusual query..

Im in a room where there is literally condensation dripping down the windows, Our dehumidifier broke last week and we don't currently have any heating oil, Which is annoying in itselfs, but my main concern is my computer, i have a big pateo door about 2 foot away from my computer which is where the condensation is dripping, So obviously there will be a lot of water in the air, im wondering how bad is this for my computer components? Should i be concerned or am i just paranoid?

Is the condensation just on the windows, or is it also forming on the walls and other hard surfaces?

If it’s just the windows I wouldn’t worry too much, although moving the PC further away wouldn’t hurt.

As stated above leaving the PC running should prevent any condensation forming.
 
It won't affect the computer since the heat given off prevents "rain" from forming on the ceiling directly above.
I know this from running an open watercooling system that evaporated several litres of water a day. It made my jacket go mouldy and covered the ceiling in mildew stains. I used to wipe the "rain" off the ceiling but it was too late.
It was worth it though. It knocked a good few degrees more off the CPU temp than conventional radiator watercooling would.

Definitely buy another Dehumidifier. We have 2 running in our house and boy they dont half extract a lot of water!!! Our windows used to be soaking every morning but not now!

All to do with ventillation. Sometimes though, even an open window is not enough. This is where a dehumidifier comes in handy.
 
The water is all over the windows. Not had a problem with walls or cielings (Yet..and hopefully never) but the room is damp and cold so thats why i was worried. I am going to keep my eyes peeled for a cheap second hand Dehumidifier in the paper over the next few weeks seen as it shouldn't be too bad :) I was going to go out and buy a new one, but hearing about Panmasters problem it sounds far worse than mine with no negative affects to the components, so i am going to instead spend my money on ordering a nice new G35 Headset :D,
