Condensation in res?

I have the switech MCRES V2.

I've noticed sort of what can be described as condensation at the top of the res. (res isn't filled to the brim).

Is this normal?

My brain would say yes as the water is warming up.

Hi, its not a problem, a res will do this if it is not full.

Ah.. must fill it then. lol

dont ever fill a res all the way up you must leave some air in it for expansion !!! this is why some reservoirs crack. (mind you that was a while back)
