I'm trying to do some conditional formatting in Excel 2003, what I want to do is if the date entered is between 01/10/11 to 31/03/12 it goes green, if its out of this date range it needs to be red.

Anyone know?

Thanks

Need a bit more info - are you asking how to get to do conditional formatting, or are you having problems when you add it?

I know how to add conditional formatting, its the formula or data I need to input into the conditional formatting options to achieve what I need, thats what I haven't got a clue about.

Choose 'Between' and then enter the dates in your local format (probably dd/mm/yyyy) and add the formatting.
Then add another condition with 'Not Between' for the red.
When you go back in you should see the dates have been converted to numbers, 40817 for 01/10/2011 and 40999 for 31/03/2012
