Conditioning mobile phone battery

Hi,

Got my W800i a couple of days ago. I've given it it's initial charge which was about 12-13 hours, but the phones battery was at 50% when I first got it so I couldn't resisit messing around with it before I got it home!

Do you think I've compromised the batteries performance or will a couple of charge and discharge cycles condition it nicely? (using overnight charges). I've looked at the battery and it appears to be a Li-Polymer battery (same as Li-Ion?)

As far as I know you don't need to do this with batteries now. As long as you fully charge the battery, use it until it is done and then fully charge it again the battery will gradually reach it's full capicity within a few charges.
