Hello, I have a few months with a spare pc so just set up this folding thing, great guide, I assume you had to delete the -configonly bit from the shortcut before running it?

It's an excellent guide, I am hopeless at getting things running so to have it running is an achievement. Well done.

As an example I bought HL2, the source bit doesn't run and so I haven't played it yet......

I want to try and use the 2nd core tomorrow, as well as changing the machine number do you have to do another registry edit?

I'm still a bit unsure how you shut down and start the folding programs up though.

Gosh, so many suggestions, thanks.

I'll try the first method first, the batch files look a bit complicated, I'll work my way up to them as my confidence grows.

Well, were now running on 2 cores, 2 different folding thingies. Excellent.

I'm going to let this chug along unmolested for a few days and get a feel for it. I'm going to try the GPU one on one of the 1950's too.

I'll have a whirl at the SMP maybe next week, but right now it's got 2 days to go on it's current proteins.......
