Configure WiFi via Itunes?

I've got a 1G Ipod Touch. Over the last week or so it has 'forgotten' two different WPA passwords that for yonks have been fine.

Is there a way to configure WiFi via Itunes? I really want to copy and paste my WPA key as typing it out is a royal PITA.

No, If you update the iPod Touch to the latest firmware (3.0.x) you can then copy and paste by holding your finger over the WPA key but you'd still have to configure the Wi-Fi initially.

Thanks for confirming. I'll still have to type it in as a note then (prior to CnP), unless I can transfer a .txt over to the Touch as a Note?

That would be a great feature
