Hello folks.
I am currently awaiting the delivery of the components I have ordered for my first HTPC build.
I am presently trying to sort the software options out on the old PC.
The big plan is to use the HDMI output solely for the media centre software to the TV.
The DVI output will be sent to the computer monitor for desktop and general computing duties.
The DVI will be configured as the primary and the HDMI as the secondary.
At the moment in windows 7 I can only open programs in the primary screen and then drag them across to the second manualy.
Is there any way of setting the media program to automaticaly launch in the secondary screen? I know they will auto-launch in the primary screen but that's no good.
Is it easier to achieve with Linux? I try'd Ubuntu a little while ago and was very impressed.
Any help much appreciated.
Cheers,
Smiler.
