I've got a creative fatal1ty pro headset (w/line-in and mic) and I'm having a bit of trouble setting it up…
Basically, everything works, but not in the way/configuration I'd like it too
Atm, I've got the headphones working fine off of my 7.1 creative inspire speaker setup's inline remote which has a line-in and a mic in connection, but I can't seem to get the mic port working from here? If I plug the mic directly into the mic port on my soundcards interface it works? I think the inline remote must be disabled or muted from somewhere in a setting, but I don't know where to look? I'm using vista.
I was hoping to be able to use the inline remote for headset connectivity because I don't really want to start having to moving my case out and swapping cables over every time I need my headset
Any ideas?
