Hi all,

Hoping somebody could help out with my Netgear access points, they aren't functioning the way I want them to at the moment.

It's a three floor building, one AP is on the ground floor and another on the top floor, those on the middle floor hopefully would pick up whichever is closest up/down to them.

It seems some devices (phones/tv) on the ground floor are picking up the AP on the top floor rather than the one closest to them?

Some screenshots of the settings below, the settings are the exact same for both along with SSID's.

You could try reducing the power so that each AP only covers its own floor and the one between them.
Pretty much this.

Without options such as fast roaming and neighbour list that you'd get on a multi node/mesh/managed system, with 2 "dumb" ap the client device will just hang onto the first connection it gets until it literally runs out of signal.
