Hi everyone,

Got the Chrimbo bonus burning a hole in my pocket and here's what i've come up with. No fixed budget in mind, but am thinking i'm unlikely to ever go for SLi or Crossfire, Monitor is sorted - Dell 2007WFP, Case - Akasa Eclipse 62, Couple of Samsung Spinpoint HDD's & Plextor Opticals.

Here's what's in the cart:

GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC)

Corsair HX 620W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU (CMPSU-620HXUK)

BFG GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail

Intel Core 2 DUO E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - Retail

Asus P5W DH Deluxe WiFi (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

Tuniq Tower 120 CPU Cooler

Does anyone have any input before i buy? My only concern is the compatibility between the Motherboard and the Memory - have seen one or two threads on here that suggest it's very hard to get this memory running at its full with this specific motherboard?

Can anyone suggest any alternatives in this area or anywhere else?

Prime reason for the motherboard is the 975 chipset supposedly being better suited for the E6600 and above chips, along with built in WiFi - i cannot use a bluetooth dongle, has to be PCI if not already on the Motherboard as the distance between here and the access point is far too long for a dongle to pickup (has been tried).

Open to any suggestions before i throw my money at this!

I know it's compatible, but it would appear to be fairly pointless if it turns out to be unable to perform at it's said timings with this board, would it not?
