Confirmation that Gigabytes G27Q-EK is G-Sync compatible [SOLVED]

Hi Guys

The following product page lists this Monitor as G-Sync compatible.

However, on Gigabytes own page, there is zero mention of this:

Has there been some sort of Firmware update, I know some companies fail to update their manuals and pages, or is this an error on the product listing? I can't find any confirmation of this.

It is g-sync compatible, generally speaking anything supporting Freesync will work.

The Gigabyte G27Q is great for gaming. It has a high 144Hz refresh rate with both FreeSync support and G-SYNC compatibility. The response time at its max refresh rate is amazing, and it has an exceptionally low input lag. It has wide viewing angles if you want to use it for co-op gaming. Unfortunately, it's not the best for dark room gaming because it has a low contrast ratio that makes blacks appear gray.

That led me on to finding this, which explains why they don't officially mention it on Gigabytes website:

While the monitor is not officially certified as ‘G-SYNC Compatible’ by NVIDIA, FreeSync works with compatible GeForce cards (GTX 10-series or newer) over DisplayPort without any issues. With AMD cards, FreeSync works over both DisplayPort and HDMI.
