***Confirmed*** Games that work with Windows 7!

I have the same exact problem, not sure why, tried admin, compatibility nothing worked, the game just freezes during start up, black screen.

Ran it on 7-32bit.

Have you tried cleaning registry? I forgot to do that
 
CoD4 definately works. I installed it (Game of the Year Edition) and that's it. Never patched it (left it at version 1.65.xxx?) and it just works.

Not sure on none GoTY editions though. Maybe a patching issue?

COD4 is patched to 1.7 isnt it? Thats what i updated mine to anyhow.
 
seem to have fixed it , was reading around and it seems to be a conflict with Realtek sound , the tips were to plug headphones in or mic. I plugged my mic in and it works :D
 
I have tested Rollercoaster Tycoon + corckscrew follies + loopy landscapes and it seems to work fine unlike my mate said...
Worms has a fix now available but I can't test it as it asks for cd and I have no idea where mine is atm :p. But apparently now works in Win7.
Pharaoh works in win7 just fine...
