I have an Asus X99-A USB 3.1 MB.
The bios version is reported as 0012, but this can't be correct as the very first version was 0401.

The latest version is 3101.

I am confused. how can I have version 0012 when according to the Ausus web site, they started with version 0401?

This is what Aida64 is reporting....

CPU-Z also reporting this bios version?

Or enter the BIOS and it should also tell you what's running.

Then that must be what it's running.

Are you 100% sure the board you have is the one that has these new bioses available?

No subtle differences in the model names?

I have checked several times and the info in the first post is correct for my board.

Is American Megatrends Inc. the usual supplier of bios for Asus boards?

I want to make sure I am updating with the correct bios but having v0012 is confusing me.

I have emailed the supplier as perhaps they have used a modified one for some reason.

I got it from competitor computers.
