Hi, I have been told it would be a good idea to overclock my CPU. I have tried to find a guide for my setup but the ones I have found have all been slightly different to what I see in my BIOS.

I read a post on another forum saying that I can just change the multiple in BIOS and the voltages etc will be decided for me.

I decided to try x43 and it saves in the BIOS, when I stress test with Prime 95 I see in CPU-z that it only goes to x37 but it says (16-43)

Here is a picture with multiple hardware monitors showing results as Prime 95 is running.

Could anyone tell me if im doing something wrong? I am very new to overclocking so any advice will be appreciated.

As an update, I have this CPU cooler. http://www.gelidsolutions.com/products/index.php?lid=2&cid=12&id=64

I had all kinds of trouble trying to overclock in windows 10, I ended up going back to windows 7.

I know win10 likes to control all the power management, so it might be seeing that you can't run 4.3GHz on stock voltage and then dropping you back to max speed on stock voltage which is 3.7ghz (turbo).

You could try putting core voltage up to 1.35v in the bios and see if it lets you run 4.3ghz in windows?
