Im having some bathroom work done next week and one aspect is a shower pump.

Im looking at positive head pumps and will only run one shower currently. I can't decide between the salander ct75+ http://www.salamanderpumps.co.uk/positive-head-shower-pumps_twin-impeller-regenerative_ct75 or the Rsp50 http://www.salamanderpumps.co.uk/positive-head-shower-pumps_twin-impeller-centrifugal_rsp50

They both seem to cover what we need (run a shower) but the rsp50 although less powerful (i know that's not always needed) runs quieter.

Can anyone advise what I should go for?

Any reason you're comparing the 50 and the 75?

The other point that strikes me is that the 75+ only does 30 minutes continuous operation. If you have a family living with you, and you all shower one after the other in a morning, you might be pushing the design limits of the pump (not saying it'll be a problem, but it might shorten the lifespan of the pump).

I think because the ct55+ hasn't got much in the spec dept and the rsp50 is suitable for what I need.cost came into it too where they are both around. 170-180.

I think the rsp50 is continuous rated (although only 2 adults so won't go past 30mins constant) and its quiet rated
