Confused. ..as usual..

I want to upgrade my current system because i have quite a bit of money just sitting there doing nothing, but, i can't seem to find 1GB Ballistix PC4000 DDR memory anywhere and at the moment i have single core 4000+ socket 939...

So do you think its worth going over to AM2 or Conroe?

You may be able to get a x2 939 pretty cheap and clock it well (4400) add 2gb ram and your laughing on the cheap.

What I have been running since Sept, very nippy indeed and will last for a good while yet unless you really need the very best.

Depends how much money you have about really?

Well, as i am working part time now, i could save how ever much i need, i don't go out much anymore

(awwww). If i could get my hands on the same memory i have now i would glady just upgrade but i really can't seem to find it and the dual core on overclockers is very cheap >.< so might just upgrade but i also got to buy a new case because i'm sick of people saying omg nice PC and its just because the case is a X-Blade which has all fancy stuff all over it and not knowing whats "under the hood".

I think i'm going for the upgrade, not much point changing everything yet.

I was not being that mean, just my personal opinion on 'gaming' cases.

Lian Li PC7+ = <3, such good value for money.

Anyway, you could always sell your ram and buy a new 2gb set, easy way of getting around that problem.
