Got all my bits from OC yesterday and am in the process of putting it all together.
My Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4 motherboard has a power supply socket (type you find on IDE drives) which it says that if you are using 2 graphics cards, you must make sure power is connected to this to ensure stability.
I've got a EVGA 8800 768MB GTX which has two power supply sockets for pci experss connectors on it.
My Tagon power supply has 2 dedicated PCI experss cables which I've plugged into this card. I presume as this already had 2 supplies going into it, plus as it's only 1 card not two, I don't need to plug additional power directly into the motherboadr (my PSU does have an additional cable to do this though)???
many thanks
Phil
