Hi all,
First post here so go easy on me!
I'm planning a build, so far I have this:
- Intel Core i5 4670k
- Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO*
- R9 290X (or 780 Ti not sure yet)
- Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 Mhz
- OCZ OCZ750FTY-UN Fatal1ty Series High-Performance 750W PSU
The intent of the build is to OC 4.3-4.5 and to Crossfire/SLI further down the road. Now confussled between the GA-Z87X-D3H and GA-Z87X-OC. The Z87X OC is £60 more expensive than the D3H, and given that both support PCI 3.0 16x/0 8x/8x I'm not really sure where than 60 quids are coming from? Is it for improved OC capabilities only?
I will be using air cooling so if I'm only going to OC to 4.5Ghz and never higher, is the Z87X-OC really needed or the D3H is perfect for my needs?
Cheers!
