Confused by OCZ SPD

Hi,

Installed my 2Gb (2*1Gb) PC3200 kit and set timings to SPD in the BIOS - but CPU-z is reporting the following:

Why hasn't the BIOS set it to CL 2-3-2-5 (CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS) that it claims to reach.

Motherboard is a Asus A8N-SLi (non premium)

Mine do that too, but they will run at the stated timings, you just need to set them yourself, not sure why they dont come up by themselves.

OK, I have set it to its stated rated speed. Now what about the command rate? Can that be dropped to 1T?

Yea it can, feel free to try it if you arent sure. The most a bad timing change will do is stop your machine from booting up, a BIOS reset fixes that.
