Confused with 780 and Titan

From my reading the new 780's are just Titans throttled to less core components and slightly cheaper due to the quality of the chips / memory

Is this right ?

780 has part of the GPU core fused off, but actually runs at higher clocks as standard
it has half the memory, but none of the chips are lower quality per se

but yes, a 780 is only 3-4% slower than a Titan clock for clock

Ah thanks for clearing that up, like to keep up to date and it was confusing me a bit.
