Hi,
I'm thinking of upgrading my Samsung SyncMaster 2343 with a Dell U2424H and I'm confused as to how I go about it.
A Google post suggested that I firstly go into Devise Manager and remove the SyncMaster. That seems strange to me because I'd think that as soon as I do that the screen will go black and I'll be unable to power off.
The Dell blurb says its Plug and Play, would that suggest that I just plug it in whilst the computer (Windows 11) is turned off. Unplug the SyncMaster, plug in the Dell and switch it on and then boot up the computer? And, if everything went well and the Dell showed up in Device Manager, I'd be able to remove the SyncMaster?
Additionally, currently the Nvidia App recognises the SynchMaster. If I remove the SynchMaster in Devise Manager will Nvidia automatically recognise the Dell?
Any pointers would be very welcome. Thanks in Advance
