Confusing Q6600 speed

Hi all

I thought id have my first go at overclocking my Q6600, so i updated my bios, and downloaded the Gigabyte easytune 6 Program (the booklet i got with my mobo recommended it)

When easytune loads, it says on the CPU clock that my CPU is running at 1605.87MHz :confused:

Has updating my bios done this?

Ive also noticed that the memory latencys are
Cas 5,4,3

Is this correct?

I shall d/l CPUZ and have a look, it can't be over stock as i havnt started the OC yet.

Also, the boxes for the RAM are long gone, and i don't know the timings off the top of my head,

Ok ive installed CPUZ, and it tells me....

Core speed :1600MHz
Multiplier : X6.0
Bus Speed: 266.7MHz
reted FSB: 1066.0MHz

What can i do to bring the cpu back tp normal speed?

Ah ok, so say when im gaming, the clock speed will increase to its 2.6 default?
