Hey,

I saw this ram: ocz 6gb ddr3 pc3-10666c7 1333mhz platinum (3x2gb) and was looking at the specs....and i'm now thoroughy confused. the specs say it's a 1333mhz ram...but when i looked at the model number, and searched it on google, it says it's a 1600mhz ram. (like here for example)

If thats the case...and it is the 1600mhz model...then it's exactly the same price as the gold version here.

I was wondering if anyone else can explain where i'm going wrong...or what the platinum version actually IS.

Also, i've seen the OCZ 6GB 1800MHz DDR3 PC3-14400 (3 X 2GB) Reaper Low Voltage Tri-Channel Kit , and was wondering which out of the three ram's listed would be the best buy???

I will be overclocking. and will be using a Gigabyte ex58 ud4p motherboard and a intel i7 920 processor

By the way, i'm completely new at computing...so forgive me if i've posted any stupid ideas :p

The model number on the OcUK website is wrong, hence your confusion.

Also, it is against forum rules to link to competitors... amend your post before you upset an admin! :)
