i just wanted to know before purchase, does the Connect 3D X1950 Pro include a 4-pin Molex to 6-pin PCI-e connector or will i need to purchase one separatelly. i have a 600W PSU but no PCI-e connectors :(

It should do, most cards have, there are exceptions though.

Out of interest what brand of psu do you have?
If you have a q-tec I seriously suggest you upgrade your psu...

I can't remember seeing an adaptor in either of the boxes I have received.
But then again, I wasn't looking.
And £10 for a psu, wtf, your whole pc is reliant upon it. If it goes bang and taked something with it, that £10 may cost you a few hundred.

I have a Hiper but I recommend you don't get one.

It seems stable on mine, but there are little niggles, like my DVD drive is tempramental. Also it's not really that quiet, nor cool running.

If I could take mine back I would, and i'd get one of the Corsairs, the HX520 or 620.

I'll be ordering the HX 620W this Friday.

I got a Sapphire X1950 XT and it didn't come with a power converter. If you get a new PSU, you won't need one anyway :)

It might look like it was sculpted by Michaelangelo himself and I'd still declare it an irrelevance for two reasons a) unless your case is see-through you won't see it other than at installation, b) it is performance that counts here since the PSU is possibly the single most important component in your PC so pick the best you can.

The Corsairs are almost certainly the best you can easily buy at the moment. I hope you are happy whatever you go for though. :)
