I've been trying to RMA my failing Connect3d X1900XT-X for ages, it now looks like Connect3D are no longer.

There seems to be a large class action against Connect3D USA in respect of mail in rebates for memory sticks and LCD TV's bought through a US etailer that were never honoured.

As far as their 24 month warranty goes, Connect3D say you must deal with your point of sale as per the printed warranty shipped with the product. I'm not sure what other
(r)etailers are doing but OCUK say you need to rma direct to Connect3D, catch 22.

So if you have a piece of Connect3D hardware you can forget your warranty. The next step for me is to speak with my credit card company.

They aint gone bust as they still doing cards.

And you know this because?

I am awaiting a response from enquiries into their ISO number amongst other lines.

Connect do not answer emails, their telephone number has been discontected and postal mail is returned to sender. This is my first hand experience.

My title has a question mark next to Connect going bust, yet you seem certain that they haven't.

I'm interested (I bet a lot of others too are too) how you know this and who is selling their new hardware?

Im not certain they havn't, i just went to their website which is still going as normal, and mentioning their new ATi/AMD 3800 range of graphics cards, which were released long after those articles were published in July.

There website has been cut down a lot. The support links just goes to a drivers page, all contact details, addresses, telephone numbers, registered numbers seem to have been removed. The list of supported parners is also not there anymore. The latest linked reviewed card is the X1950XT although as you say they have the cheek to show the HD3XXX series on their banner. And no supprise is the removal of the RMA process.

All my lines of enquiry to date would indicate they've gone belly up. I am still waiting to hear from the company that took certain UK rights Twintech3D as well as from my credit card company now.

Doe's seem strange, ive also noticed these guys don't sell them anymore either, infact i cant think of when they last did have Connect3D cards on.

Hope you can get something sorted.

Their RMA is absolutely shocking anyway, i'd never buy a card off them after the ignorance shown with my X800XT.

Good riddance tbh.

Diamond bought Connect3D IIRC, try and contact them?

website seems up to date and they are selling the latest cards (3870 etc)

really ? lol, and to think diamond went under themselves a few years back... :) im glad to see them back in play over the last 18 months, makes me feel all nostalgic when i see a diamond graphics card, I used to have a diamond stealth 4mb GPU!

Their website is very misleading, yes there is a banner for the new HD3870 cards, but they dont seem to be selling them or any other hardware. The latest linked review of a Connect3D card seems to be the X1950XT.

I will look into the Diamond side of things, but I hope Twintech3D can shed a little light on the UK side of things.
