Hi Guys
Had to rma my x1900xtx outside of the 28 day initial period and it was sent to Connect 3d on the 28th june. Anyone had any experience of them whether I am likely to see it before the 28 days OC says or even longer, I am getting desperate now for some gaming, borrowed a mate's old x300 and it aint good for nothing. :(

I sent mine back to the shop after 28 days

The shop warranty'd it for me..

Unfortunately i have never RMA'd with Connect 3d but i should imagine it could take 2 weeks before you see your replacement.

EDIT : 28th June !!

I think you need to ring them or drop them an email asking whats going on...

Well I have rang and e-mailed them and they just say "allow upto 28 days or it could take upto 3 months leagally speaking" is it me or is this a long time and not really very acceptable?

Well I got response from Connect3d this morning which states, that once they receive faulty goods back from one of their customers ie Overclockers it is sent for outside testing to a seperate company, it then takes four weeks for that company to test and submit a report on which they will issue a credit or replacement to Overclockers. Dunno about you guys but I think that a 5 to 6 week turnaround for this is crap and I know my money will never go on a Connect3d product again and next time I will do my homework on company warranties a bit better!!!!!!

I'll be sure to avoid using them ever.

I'd be emailing them to tell them the same thing to.

A few businesses have lost my money recently due to bad customer service, wether that be RMA's, support requests, or anything else.

If any company gives you crap or un-realistic customer service its best to go elsewhere and pass on the message for everyone else.

The only way companies with shocking service are going to get any better is when people stop buying from them.

Example: An e-tailer (cant mention name) left me 6-7 days to answer a simple support question on my last order. Anyone there could have answered the question in a matter of seconds. So i've left a message saying i'll take my business elsewhere. If you let companies give bad support, they'll continue to do it.
