Anyone temped to get one ?, I don't really have a problem with the DS3 controller but I would like to see how well this works, if no one buys one I may get one in the new year and post the results.

Tempting, although I have no wired xbox controllers :(. £33 seems a bit much too, if it was 15 I might go for it, I can't stand the ps3 L2/R2 and the shape of it.

One thing that annoyed me with the PS3 is the controllers so I'd be tempted to get another one if this worked on all games..

I'm tempted. I can't play games like Resistance on the PS3, as even with real triggers I just can't use the pad comfortably.

Shame it's so expensive for what it is though.

Context sensitive?

Definitely tempted to get one of those, a bit pricey but it would finally let me use a decent pad on the PS3.

Nope, all the play and charge kit does is charge the battery.

Only just realised the other day when I plugged in the charge cable to my pc that windows is actually able to use the wireless pad through the charge cable as well. It grabbed the driver "wireless 360 controller through play & charge kit" online automatically.

Don't think it will work in this case though.

It installs the driver but it doesn't allow you to use the 360 pad with windows without a wireless dongle as the cable carries no data.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure I'm right.

but I'm pretty sure I'm right.

You are. The PnC cable carries no data whatsoever, Windows only tries to install a device because it thinks something USB based is being connected.

Yea, I meant pressure sensitive buttons.

How many games actually use them? I cant think of any where it's vital to playing a game. Admittedly I haven't finished MGS4, but I have got quite far and don't remember ever having to use the feature.

GT5P perhaps has it's default Accelerator/Brake assigned to them, but to be honest, I think myself and a lot of others change those to triggers straight off anyway.
