Hi folks,

Is it possible (it must be) to connect the audio inputs on the top of my LianLi case to my XFI, so I can use the headphone jack at the top of the case rather than rear?

There were 2 cables coming from the audio panel at the top of the case, one was HDAudio which I did plug in to mobo and one was something else (some basic audio device i expect).

Any ideas?

Cheers,

I have a feeling that this will only work with a certain type of front panel audio sockets. Read the manual to your XFI.

I know on mine, on the back of the soundcard there are a load of pins and the manual highlighted which pins to use for front panel connections.

The X-Fi supports Intel HDAudio, so plug that connector into the X-Fi instead of the motherboard and you should be good to go. Remember to disable any onboard sound in BIOS.
