Hello,

I just got a good deal on a wireless headphones with detachable 3.5mm cable with Bluetooth 5.0 (Tribit XFree Go).
My intension was to use them as a wireless microphone headset during my work during Google Hangouts or Meet conversations.
I do know they come with built in microphone but I suppose it is omni directional since my co workers told me they can hear most of the sounds around me, not just my voice. Maybe the integrated mic isn't that great, I don't know. I was using a wired Plantronics USB headset with directional microphone which to them sounds perfect. The problem is that is wired and I am stuck to my laptop for hours due to the USB cable.
I was thinking- can I buy a 3.5 mm microphone (like a lavaliere mic, on one end- a 3.5mm jack and on the other end- the microphone, connected via short wire), plug that into the 3.5mm hole in my wireless headphones and that way use the Tribit wireless headphones to listen and the mic to talk? Would that even work? If not- what would you suggest I do in order to use the headphones as per my intensions?

I really need to be able to walk around while having conversations.

Much appreciated.
