Connect micro lab m1910 to samsung ps51e6500

So I got these speakers today from b grade 2 speakers are messed up pretty bad and sub I scuffed but hey chance you take, I've tryed to connect them up to tv but as I know nothing about sound and the connections I don't know what to do any help

I've got optical cable from tv into speakers atm but nothing

I also have a TiVo box to hdmi to the tv if that helps

Even tryed just 3.5 from iPhone to speakers and can't them to work I think these b grades are duffs

They work I tryed aux to red/white and they worked I can't get free view channel as I don't have anyway airial so don't know how to get sound from tv/TiVo to speaker

So I've set my TiVo box to change sound from Dolby to pcm, my tv is set to pcm I've tryed putting optical from tv to speakers and 0 luck also tryed TiVo to speakers 0 luck

Just decided to RMA it if it's a fault with the things I recieved I'm not willing to spend more money as it was b grade it was scuffed to speakers where in really bad condition but was going to use these behind my sofa so wasn't bothered but now as more problems have come about im just not satisfied and decided to return
