Connect NES to Modern TV, HDMI?

Whilst sorting out my loft I uncovered my original NES and it's games.

I'd like to try and get it working on a modern TV if possible, and googling there seems to be a plethora of options with mixed reviews on solutions.
Has anyone here done this and can report back on how you achieved it? I bought a scart type cable for it some years back, but none of my current TVs have SCART either unfortunately. Ideally I'd like to plug it into one of my modern TVs via HDMi but appreciate whatever I choose will probably need to upscale it as well...

Does your TV have a component connection? Usually one of the blue, green, pink video cable inputs doubles up as the yellow video input for a composite connection. Assuming the NES can do a composite video out...

As you say, there are many options and it’s hard to know what’s best suited to your setup and budget.
