Hi, sorry if this is the wrong place to post. Last year I installed a bird nest box that had a video camera in - and it turns out that a blue tit has decided to nest. It connects to the TV with the standard yellow, white and red cables. Does anyone know if I can somehow connect this to a computer so that I can take pics etc.?

Any help would be appreciated!

Cheers

Simon

If the camcorder has a firewire connection (if it uses DV tapes it probably will, if it uses anything else it probably won't) you could use this. You PC might already have a firewire connector (for some reason they seem to be more common on laptops).

Thanks for the suggestions. It isn't a camcorder, its a bit like a webcam, but only with the red white and yellow cables so you can connect it to the tv.

Yea I can do that, but I wanted to connect it to my HTPC as there would be more storage on its 1TB hdd. I just wanted a bit more flexibility really.
